My self portrait

So we had a task to get items from home and make a self portrait this is my attempt. I used highlighters and a pen as the outside of my face, two necklaces for my hair, key rings for my ears, sunglasses for my eyes, kinetic sand as my mouth and a star rubber as my nose. I wonder, are you enjoying lock down or do you want to get back to get to school?

Very cool portrait, I like all the bright colours you have used and the sunglasses! Great work. I am ready to get back to school, how about you?

  2. This is such a bright and happy self portrait Sam! I love it. Well done for being so creative. I don't mind lockdown but think I'm ready to get back into school now. Fingers crossed it won't be long.

  3. Kia ora Sam - I love this! You are so creative. I like the idea of including sunglasses as your eyes! Very clever. How long did this take you to make & did you try other resources? I'm enjoying reading the Blog posts and seeing what everyone is up to during lockdown. I am looking forward to getting back to school though, hopefully soon! Keep safe. Jen TA

  4. Great work on creating your Self Portrait Sam. I like how you used necklaces for your hair. Did you find it tricky thinking of what to use to create your portrait? I hope you found this a fun challenge to do.
